NEW BREWS!

Old Butcher

Style: Alt

Have a hack at this old (Alt) style German ale. A sociable drink with a good balance between malt sweetness and hop. Although this brew is dark amber in color it is surprisingly crisp and refreshing. This was the drink of Germany before lagers were discovered. $189.00

Reindorf Kölsch

Style: Kolsch / German Ale

Many American beer lovers still haven’t heard of Kolsch style ales, which is a shame… Kolsch beer is the lightest of the ales (the uninitiated may confuse this brew with a lager), yet it’s wonderfully complex. This is the “lawn- mower beer” of beer snobs. $189.00

Smooth Porter

Style: Baltic Porter

This true-to-style Baltic Porter lives up to its name with plenty of depth, a deep black hue, and more smoothness than a cool cucumber on a hot Saturday night. Be forewarned, although this brew is extremely easy to drink it has a very respectable alcohol level. $194.25

County Cork Stout

Style: Stout

This brew pays homage to two famous ales from the shores of southern Ireland. Murphy’s stout & Beamish stout are often overlooked by stout drinkers, however, many feel that they are superior to the “other” famous Irish Stout. County Cork Stout offers a good complexity, body, & drinkability. A great, traditional, Irish stout. $194.25

Note that many beer descriptions that follow contain asterisks....

All Wheat, Belgian, many stouts and porters, and any beer using fruit puree will be bottle conditioned only. Bottle conditioning requires a secondary fermentation in the bottle (stored at room temperature) for 2 weeks. So be aware that the time needed for the beer to be drinkable is one month from brew day (bottling date is uneffected).
