Homebrew Specials!
The Brewer's Apprentice homebrew customer base has been growing, and we have come up with a nice opportunity for you to save even more. Beginning January 2, 2005, you will be entitled to a 50% discount on your 6th recipe kit, after purchasing your first 5 at regular prices (which, by the way, are pretty darn good to begin with). Next time you come in, ask for your own Homebrew Saver's Card, and have it signed every time you purchase a recipe from us. When you present your card for the sixth recipe, we'll take 50% off the price. Please note that only recipe purchases qualify, not equipment or individual ingredients.
Split Batches!
The Brewer's Apprentice has offered a case exchange program since our beginning. Case exchange allows our customers to trade bottle for bottle from the stock we have in our cold room. We are constantly brewing for the "house" for that purpose. Beginning in the month of June 2004 "the house" will be brewing and bottling every Friday at approximately 3pm (call first, schedule subject to change). During this time (until about 5:30pm) we will be allowing only those brewers who have reserved a split batch to be present. All split batches will be "stock" recipes (and some good ones at that!) and we will be getting down to the business of brewing with little socializing. It is our hope that a regular brewing schedule like this will result in a more extensive selection in the case exchange.
This is ideal for our customers who enjoy fresh brewed beer but want a smaller commitment in both time and money. The brews we have chosen and the brew date are listed below and will be listed on the website bulletin board, as well as posted at the store. If you would like to brew with us contact us by email, do not call the store. The Brewer's Apprentice will brew 2 batches (possibly more if interest is high) and can share those beers with a maximum of two other individual brewers. In other words, the house will always keep 4 cases and share the remaining two.
Ground Rules
1. Individual brewers only (sorry, no
groups)
2. Minimum participation is 2 cases for $50.00 (*$60.00 for Platinum Taps)
3. Cannot be combined with any other promotion or special.
4. Participation in bottling mandatory, participation in brewing optional.
5. The Brewer's Apprentice will select the recipes.
6. Two sheets of standard TBA labels are included per case, can be orderd
in advance or on bottling day.
ABC Brewing Permit Price Change
The ABC of NJ has increased the
price of an individual brewing permit required to make alcoholic beverages
with us. The new price is now $20.00, effective July 1 2003.
Hard Apple Cider, Hard Lemonade
and "Vinoka" Ice
These are new to the Brewer's line-up. The perfect summer beverage!
Lighter than wine at about 6% alcohol,
they will certainly quench your thirst.
Many other varities available, such as hard cranberry lemonade or peach and pear cider.
5 gallon batches- appox. 26-22oz
beer bottles. $75.00
The Brewer's Apprentice has
been requested to accommodate private and semi-private parties for our customers.
So we have put in writing the various options that we offer. Party brochures
