Cleaners
One Step
The most popular cleanser. One step uses peroxide
to help cleanse and sanitize. Sanitizes within minutes,
cleansing time depends on how soiled your equipment
is. Using the recommended 1 tablespoon of One Step
per gallon of Warm or Hot tap water will
clean even the toughest jobs within about 30 minutes.
Contains no chlorine. No rinsing required, but suggested.
B-Brite
Similar to One Step. Uses oxygen and peroxide to
cleanse and sanitize. Has more wetting agents than
One Step which slightly improves its cleaning ability.
Use 1 tablespoon per gallon. Contains no chlorine.
Rinsing is required.
PBW
Powdered Brewery Wash. An environmentally friendly
non-caustic cleanser that was developed for Coors.
Has most of the cleaning power of an industrial
strength caustic without the harmful side effects.
Safe for use on stainless steel and copper, most
plastics and rubbers, as well as glass. Use 1 to
2 oz. per gallon of warm to hot water. Needs a minimum
of 30 minutes of contact time, but the longer the
better. Letting equipment soak overnight, in many
cases, dislodges all organic matter so there's no
scrubbing required! Doesn't sanitize.
Sanitizers
Star San
A versatile sanitizer. A food grade foaming acidic
solution that reaches every nook and cranny. Includes
a handy measuring spout which makes dosing very
easy. 1oz. per 5 gallons. Sanitizes with 2 minutes.
No rinsing required.
BTF Iodophor
An iodine based sanitizer. Very economical, but
can cause staining in plastics. 1 tablespoons per
5 gallons of cold water. Sanitizes with 2 minutes.
Requires rinsing.
Cleaning Equipment
Brushes
We carry a full line of brushes that will help you
clean all of your brewing equipment.
Bottle Washer
We carry the Fermtech Blast Bottle Washer. Attaches
easily to an utility faucet. Adapters available
to fit other faucet types. Helps clean and rinse
beer and wine bottles as well as most carboys!

Buckets
Fermenting Buckets
We stock the most popular size fermenting bucket,
which is 6.5 gallons. We can order any size fermenting
bucket you need and have it ready with a few business
days. All fermenting buckets come with a lid unless
otherwise noted. Sizes available include: 2 gallon,
6.5 gallon, 7.8 gallon, 12 gallon, and 16.5 gallon.
Bottling Buckets
We stock the standard size 6.5 gallon bottling bucket
which includes a lid and spigot. Attach a bottle
filler to the spigot with a small piece of 5/16"
tubing and you'll be bottling as quickly as some
microbreweries!
Air Locks
We carry both 3 piece airlocks and bubbler airlocks
(a.k.a "S" airlocks). Both fit all fermenting
buckets, carboy bungs, and carboy caps.
Carboys
Glass Carboys
We carry every standard size carboy in stock except
for demi-johns (13.5 and 15 gallon), which we can
order for you and have ready within 3 business days.
Standard carboy sizes are: 3 gallon, 5 gallon, and
6 gallon.
Better Bottles (Plastic
Carboys)
Better Bottles are made of PET plastic, which is
totally food grade, as clear as glass, and impermeable
to air. A great alternative to glass if you're trying
to lighten the weight. All Better Bottles take a
#10 carboy bung.
Carboy Bungs & Caps
We carry universal carboy caps and every size gum
rubber carboy bung available as well as universal
carboy bungs. Drilled or solid. Universal caps and
bungs fit 3 gallon, 5 gallon, and 6 gallon glass
carboys. 3 & 5 gallon glass carboys use a #7
bung, 6 gallon glass carboys use #6.5 bung.
Carboy Handles
We stock universal carboy handles which fit 3 gallon,
5 gallon, and 6 gallon carboys. The manufacturer
claims that handles are not meant to lift full carboys,
but in our experience they work just fine for doing
so, carefully of course.
Funnels
We carry the standard 8", food grade plastic
funnel, which fits all carboys. Does not fit jugs.
Comes with a snap-in screen, but we highly recommend
that you don't use it!
Jugs
Glass Jugs
We carry 1/2 gallon and 1 gallon clear glass jugs.
Perfect for making yeast starters or making small
batches of your next experiment! Plastic cap included.

Chillers
Immersion Chillers
We build our immersion chillers in house from quality
materials. 20' copper coil comes with 6' of nylon
tubing on the inlet and outlet and includes a fitting
for standard 3/4" hoses and faucets. Cools
a 5 gallon batch within 5 minutes when used properly.
Counterflow Chiller
We build our counterflow chillers in house from
quality materials. 20' coil includes 3/8" copper
in and out stems for wort and 3/4" in and out
threads that fit a standard garden hose. Chills
beer instantly. Must be used in conjunction with
a spigot or stainless steel racking cane. We highly
recommend that you use thermoplastic tubing on the
"wort in" side of the chiller.
Thermoplastic Tubing
When using tubing for high heat applications, where
the wort is above 100°, thermoplastic tubing
is your best bet. It is heat resistant beyond 300°
and it will not leach harmful chemicals into your
wort. Vinyl tubing, while great for cool applications,
will start to break down when temperatures start
to rise above 100°... releasing potentially harmful
chemicals into your wort as well as plastic aromas
and flavors.

Hydrometers
Thermohydrometer
We believe that the thermohydrometer is much more
useful for the homebrewer when compared to a standard
hydrometer and we therefore stock it as our standard
hydrometer. Being able to check the temperature
of your wort while you check its gravity ensures
that you'll be getting a proper reading.
Proof & Tralle (Alcoholometer)
A hydrometer used to check the proof and percentage
of alcohol in distilled spirits. Not
for use in beer or wine.
Test Jars
The clear containers that are used with hydrometers
for measuring the gravity of wort, must, or spirits.
We
carry 10" and 12" test jars.
Thermometers
Fermometer
The most popular "stick on" type of
thermometer. Used primarily with carboys and fermenting
buckets. Very accurate liquid crystal display
with temperature range from 36° to 78°.
Peel and stick backing. Care must be used when
applying so that the liquid crystal display is
not damaged.
Candy Thermometers
Stainless steel thermometers that clip on to the
side of the brewing pot. Wide faced dials offer
easy to see, accurate readings. Available in 5",
9", and 12" probe lengths.
Floating Thermometer
10" glass thermometer with a range of 0°
to 220°. Best used in the mash tun for measuring
mash temperature. Can be used in the brew pot,
but because it is glass, care must be taken not
to break it.
Digital Thermometer
Digital, programmable thermometer. Includes remote
probe on 43" long wire. Functions include:
time, target temperature alert, timer alert, farenheit
or celsius, and more. Great for the multitasking
brewer!
Thieves
Fermtech Thief
We carry the Fermtech Thief, a modern version
of an age old tool. The thief helps take wort
and must samples easily and allows dispensing
through the bottom or the top. Can also be used
as a test jar!
PH
PH Papers
We carry PH test papers for beer and wine. Beer
range is 4.6 - 6.2 and is perfect for monitoring
your mash PH. Wine range is 2.8 - 4.4.
Scales
Escali Scales
We carry the Escali Primo scale. A great digital
scale with an 11lb. capacity. Has gram, ounce,
and pound settings. Has tare and auto shut off
features. INCLUDES BATTERIES!

Racking Equipment
Auto Siphon
A great tool for the homebrewer. The auto siphon
helps you easily start a siphon while greatly
reducing the chance of infection. We suggest that
it be a part of every homebrewer's equipment.
Fits 5/16" tubing.
Racking Canes
We carrying both straight and curved racking canes.
Fits 5/16" tubing. Great for minimizing aeration
and/or oxidation.
Tubing
We stock all of the standard sizes of tubing:
1/4", 5/16", 3/8", and 1/2".
Food grade vinyl. Available by the foot.
Bottling Equipment

We carry the standard red double lever capper
(known as the "Emily" capper). Fits
American crown caps. Provides years of smooth
service.
Bottle Filler
We carry the newer dual bottle filler that can
be used with a spring or springless. We love the
spring feature because it reduces dripping. Fits
5/16" tubing.
Bottle Trees
Bottle trees are very handy when cleaning bottles.
They help bottles drain and keep them from getting
infected while they're waiting to be used. We
carry the small 45 count tree and the bigger 81
count tree.

We carry German made gold crown caps. Fits all
American cappable beer bottles.
