Adjuncts

Glucose
0 Lovibond. This is our house "adjunct". Liquid glucose is nearly 100% fermentable and can be handled just like liquid malt extract. Lightens beers while adding alcohol. Great for light colored Belgian ales and American lagers.

Dextrose
0 Lovibond. This is our house "priming sugar". While dextrose is most known in brewing for being used as the sugar used in bottling conditioning, it can also make a good adjunct in brewing when used in small amounts. It is 100% fermentable. Available in prepackaged 5oz. priming sugar packets or in bulk by the pound.

Belgian Candi Sugar
0 - 75 lovibond. Refined sugar-beet sugar. 100% fermentable. We carry clear and amber candi sugar. Excellent for all belgian styles.

Honey
New Jersey. We carry award winning honey from Zenja Farms. We always have wildflower honey in stock, but we can order many other varieties with a quick turn-around time. Available in 1 lb. and 5 lbs. jars. Bulk orders available.

Maltodextrin
A corn-based, non-fermentable sugar that adds body to beer. When used properly, maltodextrin can dramatically improve the mouthfeel of malt extract homebrews, giving some of the qualities of all-grain beer.

Lactose
A milk-based, non-fermentable sugar that adds creamy body and a slight tang to beer. Best used with thicker stouts.

Rice Syrup Solids
A rice-based, fermentable sugar that lightens body and color in beer. Has a very faint rice aroma and flavor. Best used with American and Japanese lagers.
