The Brewers Apprentice Kettles

Mead... the traditional drink of love!
The Brewer's Apprentice offers a variety of mead recipes that are good enough to please even the most picky mead connoisseur. The quality of the mead that you make on our premises will rival even the best commercial mead that you've tasted.

We start by providing you with the best honey that we have ever found. The quality of the honey that you use will dictate how good your mead can be. We will usually suggest amber wildflower honey, but other honeys may also be available depending on the season. Then we add clean, super-filtered water, and yeast that will suit your tastes, and the process has begun!

We also offer fruit mead (a.k.a. melomel), spiced mead (a.k.a. metheglin), and more!

We Guarantee The Quality Of Every Batch Of Mead You Make!
The Brewer's Apprentice has helped hundreds of customers make their favorite type of mead. Because of our experience and high level of sanitization, we are able to guarantee the quality of every batch of mead that is made on our premises.

We offer two different size batches of mead when you brew on our premises. The standard batch, which is 15 gallons and produces 6 cases of 750ml wine bottles or 22 oz. beer bottles; and the small batch, which is 5 gallons and produces approximately 2 cases of 750ml wine bottles or 22 oz. beer bottles.

Celebrate your honeymoon with your very own, handcrafted mead! Let the romance of meads age-old traditions envelope you and your guests on your special day... and we'll provide you with free customized labels!

The term "Honeymoon" comes from the practice of newlywed couples consuming mead for one month after their wedding.

Making mead is a slow process. It can take up to 3 months from the time that you make it, to the time that you can bottle it... and it can age in the bottle for a long time. So if you'd like to make some for a specific event, make sure to give yourself enough time by making it in advance!
