Welcome to our recipe catalog! We have quite a few homebrew recipes, so to help you navagate through all of them we have provided two lists below, one for ales and one for lagers. To focus in on the beer recipe you're looking for, click the style of that beer below and you will be brought to a detailed list of all of our beer recipes within that style. If you're not sure what style your favorite beer is, we've provided commercial examples to the right of each style... If you're still not sure, we've provided an alphabetical master list of all of our recipes at the bottom of this page. As always, don't forget that you are welcome to call us at 732-863-9411!

Ale Style Commercial Examples
German Ale
There are t
wo primary ales within this style: Kolsch & Altbier. Harpoon Summer Beer, Reissdorf Kolsch. Alaskan Amber, Long Trail Ale, Long Trail Double Bag, Otter Creek Copper Ale, Uerige.
Bitter / ESB
Brakspear Bitter, Gritty McDuff's Best Bitter, Honker's Ale, Young's Bitter. Bishop's Finger, Fuller's ESB, Redhook ESB, Sierra Nevada ESB, Stoudt's Scarlet Lady ESB.
Pale Ale / IPA Bass Ale, Boddingtons Pub Ale, Old Speckled Hen, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Anchor Liberty Ale, Troegs Pale Ale. Dogfish Head 60 Minute, Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale, Stone IPA.
Belgian Ale Allagash, Blue Moon Wit, Chimay, Corsendonk, Delirium Tremens, Duvel, Hoegaarden, La Chouffe, Leffe, Ommegang, Unibroue, Victory Golden Monkey, Westmalle.
Porter / Stout Anchor Porter, Fuller's London Porter, Rogue Mocha Porter, Stone Smoked Porter, Smutty Nose Robust Porter. Beamish Stout, Guinness, Murphy's Stout, Sam Smith's Oatmeal Stout.
High Gravity Many styles can fit under this category, including: Barleywine, Braggot, Old Ale, & Strong Ale. Sierra Nevada Bigfoot, Victory Old Horizontal, Stone Arrogant Bastard, Stone Old Guardian.
Specialty Ale
 
This category is a catchall for ales that use exotic ingredients or ales that don't fit under the categories above. Styles include: cream alle, fruit ales, pumpkin ale, rye ale, & seasonal ales.


Lager Style Commercial Examples
American Lager Quite a few styles fit within this category: Amber Lager, Light Lager, Malt Liquor, Steam Beer, etc. Commercials examples are: Bedweiser, Colt 45, Coors, Corona, Michelob, Miller, Molson XXX, Yuengling, etc.
German & European Lager This category also has many styles within it: Bock, Doppelbock, Maibock, Marzen / Oktoberfest, Vienna Lager, etc. Commercial examples are: Ayinger, Becks, Harp, Heineken, Spaten, Stella Artois, Warsteiner, etc.
Pilsner While there are many American and European versions of this popular style, most people still know the Czech and German versions better than any other. Examples include: Becks, Budvar, Carlsberg, Czechvar, Pilsner Urquell, etc.
