Mead
The traditional drink of love! We have perfected our mead recipe and we are extremely pleased with the results. Mead is fermented honey, a simple recipe, yet it is unlike any other alcoholic beverage you have ever had. You can make it still or sparkling, and optionally you can add fruit puree (add $25 per batch). Fruit extract can be added at no extra charge.
We use 60 lbs of Amber Wildflower Honey in every batch! The cost is $225.00 for 72-22oz bottles. You may choose to bottle into wine bottles but the mead must be sulphited (to prevent renewed fermentation). The yeild for wine bottles is 62-750ml bottles or bottle into 124-375ml bottles, please add $75.00. The fermentation time is extended and the flavor is deepened with aging. We think that the results are worth both the wait and cost.
