Brewing 101

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn from professionals about the process of brewing, fermentation and bottling.  Sessions will cover chemistry of beer, the equipment, recipe development and brewing, tasting and bottling.  Course begins with a lecture, on this fast growing business by Belford Brewery owner, Kevin Enny.  Students will then join us here at The Brewer’s Apprentice for Sessions 2-5, taught by Kevin, where they will get an inside view of the growing world of micro brewing, an overview of the science of brewing, explore equipment and ingredients. Then as a class, we will develop and brew a recipe. The final class will be bottling the beer. We will also discuss bottling verses kegging.

A tour of Belford Brewery will be offered, date TBD.
